Great pick and great finish
The Kings were able to finish their homestand on a positive note.
They picked up a 2-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche last night. The Kings finally looked like their usual selves tonight, only allowing 23 shots on goal. Jonathan Quick was solid only allowing one goal on the power play in which he didn't have much of a chance to save.
Toffoli's goal was the difference. He picked off a pass going to Beauchemin from Johnson on the right and he was off to the races. Beauchemin tried to catch him but could not and Toffoli finished off the play with a nice deke to his forehand to put it past Reto Berra.
The Kings seem to have finally found their game the past two games. Their defensive play has been better and the puck is finally going in for their top players. Let's hope it continues.
