Tom Wilson crushes Jonny Brodzinski and leaves him leaking.

Tom Wilson may be wearing a piece of protective equipment but it hasn't slowed him down.

A bubble over his face isn't going to be enough to stop Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson from playing his physical brand of hockey.

On Saturday, Wilson hit the ice with his new protective face mask, one he must wear after suffering a broken nose when a collision between Wilson and the Los Angeles Kings' Alex Laferriere ended with Laferriere's stick in Wilson's face, and immediately returned to his usual style of hard hitting play on the ice.

Unfortunately for New York Rangers forward Jonny Brodzinski, he would be the man on the receiving end of Wilson's ire when he was caught with a devastating hit along the boards. Brodzinski went down in a heap immediately following the impact and he could be seen leaking all over the ice, although it isn't entirely clear how he suffered the cut. Brodzinski did have his back to Wilson when the hit was delivered and as a result was driven head first into the boards.

Brodzinski would head to the Rangers locker room following the hit and has yet to return.
