Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson does not get tired of running into rivals and sending them hard to the ice.

As you know, the Boston Bruins lost defenseman Torey Krug, who was  on injured reserve with an upper-body injury earlier today. The blue liner was injured in the Bruins’ win over the Capitals on Monday night, presumably on this bit of contact from Wilson.

Wilson was back at it after the holiday when the Caps faced the Columbus Blue Jackets in the nation’s capital.

The Capitals’ gritty forward took out Alexander Wennberg with a heavy hit as he attempted to clear the slot in front of his goalie.

But, don’t worry Capitals fans: this is a clean hit. A brutal one, but there is no risk that Wilson will be called by the league on this move.

Wennberg was flattened by Wilson, while the Caps forward just kept going his own way.

Another victim for Wilson this season!
