He just can't steer clear of trouble!
Stop us if you've heard this one before.
Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has once again ran afoul of the National Hockey League Department of Player Safety, this time from an incident last night in which he caught Toronto Maple Leafs forward Noah Gregor with a vicious high stick to the face.
An in-person hearing means that Wilson is facing a stiff punishment of potentially being banned for five games or longer.
His last suspension came in 2021 when he was forced to sit for seven games for a dirty hit on Boston's Brandon Carlo. He also was infamously sat for 20 games in 2018 after a vicious blindside hit to the head of Oskar Sundqvist.
