The Montreal Canadiens are set to welcome a top prospect into their lineup, and despite the fact that they are well outside of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and are confirmed to miss the annual tournament, he'll be getting some valuable experience at the NHL level.
Lane Hutson, who just had his season end with the Boston University Terriers, is signing his entry-level contract with the Habs:
Hutson, whom the Canadiens drafted with the 62nd overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft and who has represented the United States on the international stage during the recent 2024 World Junior Championships, scored 15 goals and 34 assists in 38 games played.
