The Toronto Blue Jays are currently having the most exciting season by a Toronto sports team in a long time. Sure, the Raptors have had moderate success over the past few seasons, but nothing like the Jays are enjoying right know.
With Josh Donaldson in the run for the title of American league MVP and the team two games ahead of the New York Yankees in the standings, the fans are more excited than ever.
How excited? Well, some of them are wishing for some Jays player to find a second job and recycle as hockey players during winter time. Surely, they can't be worst than the players lining up for the leafs, right? Maybe David Price can be as successful defensively with a stick in his hand as he does a baseball?
Or maybe Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion can bring some much needed firepower to Mike Babcock's offense? After trading Phil Kessel, they may sure need it!
