Tortorella had a colorful reaction to Werenski courage!

By now you're probably aware of the injury Zach Werenski suffered yesterday, after receiving a deflected puck to the face. He came back minutes later and played a few shifts before leaving the game for good. He had a good excuse, since his eye was swollen shut at that point. 

It impressed a lot of people in the hockey, but none more than his own coach John Tortorella. Following his team's loss to the Penguins, he had these comments to share. 

Tortorella is known for his straight talk and he was true to his character here. One can understand his stance though, as Werenski literally played with a broken face. 

The Blue Jackets will face elimination against the Penguins tomorrow.
