The Jackets coach did not hold back...

Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella has done it again. After his team's 5-3 defeat at the hands of his former team the New York Rangers on Monday night, the controversial coach did not hold back and slammed his own players in front of a crowd of reporters.

When asked about the penalty kill and the players' lack of discipline, this is what he had to say:

"Couldn’t kill one off. When you take stupid penalties, you don’t kill them off," he said after the game. "We’re a dumb hockey team tonight. We pissed one away."

"Stupid. We don't deserve to win."

The Jackets had the lead heading into the third,  but took three penalties and the Rangers did not waste the opportunity. Penalties by Artemi Panarin (high-sticking), Zac Dalpe (elbowing) and David Savard (tripping) allowed the Rangers to come back...They scored three power-play goals.

Rough.
