Trade Alert: Kraken trade defenseman Kurtis MacDermid

This just in from ESPN NHL insider Kevin Weekes, the Seattle Kraken have traded defenseman Kurtis MacDermid to the Colorado Avalanche for a 4th round draft pick.

MacDermid, of course, had been drafted by the Kraken from the Los Angeles Kings at last week's 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. The 27 year old defenceman put up two goals and four points in 28 games with the Kings last season and has six goals and 17 points in 118 career NHL games, all with the Kings.
