NHL insider Elliotte Friedman drops a bomb to kick off trade deadline week
This just in from NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Edmonton Oilers appear to be on the verge of acquiring defenseman Connor Murphy from the Chicago Blackhawks.
From Friedman just now:
The 32 year old Murphy has four goals and 13 points in 60 games for the Blackhawks this season and is in the final year of a four year contract that pays him $4.4 million annually.
