Trade Rumor: The Bruins express interest in a new name!

It appears the Bruins search for a winger to compliment Milan Lucic and David Krejci is leading them to the Columbus Blue Jackets. In addition to Sabres forward Chris Stewart, Pierre LeBrun of ESPN has reported that the Bruins have also expressed interest in Columbus Blue Jackets right winger Cam Atkinson. "He's an RFA not UFA, so Columbus doesn't have to move him, but the Boston Bruins are among the teams that have phoned Columbus on him," LeBrun said on TSN's Insider Trading. "So, Atkinson (is) on that radar of names that the Bruins are trying to add." Atkinson set a career-high last season with 21 goals, and the 25-year-old Atkinson has 11 goals and 10 assists in 48 games for the Blue Jackets this season.
