Trade rumor: What to do with Hossa's long-term injury reserve space?
What would you do with the cap space?
HockeyFeed
Once the Chicago Blackhawks place forward Marian Hossa on long-term injured reserve after the season starts, they will have potentially more than $5 million in salary-cap space.
A space that should be use to fill Hossa's spot on the roster.
However, Hawks general manager Stan Bowman said the team will adopt a "wait-and-see" approach to using that space. Bowman surely want to give his current players the time to find good chemistry during camp and the beginning of the season, and then see what he can trade and what is available on the market.
Let's see how the Hawks jell and shape, and then what needs to be done with the extra money.
What do you say Hawks fans?
