It’s all here:
You know how it is on deadline day, and even if many of the monster trades took place days and even weeks earlier this season, there was still a lot to report and often, at the same time, on Friday.
More trades have been reported separately on Hockey Feed, but we thought we put here the four trades that went under the radar during the commotion.
Sabres - Ducks
After acquiring Jordan Greenway from the Minnesota Wild, the Buffalo Sabres made an additional move Friday, acquiring defenseman Austin Strand from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for blue liner Chase Priskie.
Sabres again, this time with the Nashville Predators
The Sabres were quite active, trading forward Rasmus Asplund to the Predators for a seventh-round pick in 2025. Asplund is a pending restricted free agent with a $825,000 cap hit.
Sharks - Stars
The two Western teams swapped forwards during the hectic last few hours. The Sharks acquired Jacob Peterson from the Stars in exchange for Scott Reedy.
Kings - Blackhawks
In one of the few small trades of the day, the Kings traded forward Austin Wagner to the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations.
Wagner has spent his entire NHL career with the Kings since being selected 99th overall by LA in 2015. The 25-year-old has spent the past two seasons with the AHL’s Ontario Reign, recording 12 points in 24 games this year and 22 in 55 games the year before.
Canucks - Rangers
The Vancouver Canucks traded defenseman Wyatt Kalynuk to the New York Rangers in exchange for future considerations.
Rangers - Avalanche
The Rangers also made a swap with the Colorado Avalanche, sending Gustav Rydahl in return for Anton Blidh.
