Tragedy strikes Detroit’s Vladimir Tarasenko

There is unfortunate news to pass along affecting a newly signed member of the Detroit Red Wings, as recently arrived forward Vladimir Tarasenko is dealing with the death of his father Andrei at only 56 years of age. 

Andrei Tarasenko competed for Russia in the 1994 Olympics and also won the scoring title while playing in the Russian SuperLeague. 

Our condolences to the Tarasenko family during this difficult time.
