Tragedy strikes the Stelter family yet again

Mike Stelter, father of Edmonton Oilers super fan Ben Stelter who tragically passed away last summer, has announced on social media that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Ben, of course, passed away from cancer himself but inspired thousands of hockey fans in his short life with his passion for the game of hockey and for his favourite team the Oilers. Ben became somewhat of a mascot for the Oilers during their 2021-22 season and was a fixture in the team's post-game celebrations. Ben's famous refrain of 'Play Labamba, baby!' is still used at Rogers Place following Oilers' victories.
Now, less than a year after losing his son Mike is facing his own battle.
