Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin made the devastating announcement on social media yesterday morning that he and his wife Kenzie suffered the loss of their unborn child.
Needless to say, as he returns to the lineup after a two game absence, he'll be hitting the ice with a heavy heart tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.
"He's been playing with this heavy behind him for a while," head coach Derek Lalonde said. "Its a huge credit to him and what he's about, we're excited to get him back."
Shortly after the sale news was announced by Larkin, well wishes poured in from all over social media.
