The Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals visited the White House today to meet with President Donald Trump. Read that sentence aloud to someone in 2015 and just watch their mind explode… but I digress.
The Capitals, including captain Alex Ovechkin, graciously met with the President earlier today and graciously accepted his congratulations on their 2018 Stanley Cup championship. During his congratulations Trump put Ovechkin on the spot, which caused his teammates to bellow out in laughter. \
