Trump says China will "permanently eliminate the Stanley Cup" in unhinged social media rant

Another day, another distraction from The Epstein Files and his unmitigated disaster of an administration for American Commander in Chief Donald Trump.

Today, on his very own social media app Truth Social, Trump went on an unhinged rant against Canada and their construction of the new Gordie Howe Bridge linking Windsor, ON to Detroit, MI.

The bridge, which has been entirely funded by Canada's federal government, is a joint ownership project between Canada and the state of Michigan. Again, it's important to note that Canada has funded the entire $6.4 billion project... but of course that's not enough for a man who doesn't respect sovereignty and autonomy.

"I will not allow this bridge to open until the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them, and also, importantly, Canada treats the United States with the Fairness and Respect that we deserve," Trump wrote in the post on Monday.

"With all that we have given them, we should own, perhaps, at least one half of this asset," he wrote.

Interestingly enough, Trump himself endorsed the project back in 2017 when it was first announced, calling the bridge a "vital economic link between our two countries."

Of course, much has changed between these two countries since 2017 and Trump himself is solely to blame.

While it's difficult to pin down exactly what Trump's problem is with Canada (It changes each week, given his latest fixation), it seems like his latest obsession is Canada's new trade agreement with China. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, of course, has been aggressive in lining up new trade agreements due to Trump's inability to follow through on his own agreements.

The strengthening relationship between Canada and China has clearly hit a nerve with Trump and he attempted to hit Canadians where it hurts in his bizarre 299 word rant today. The President, who is mentioned over 5,300 times in The Epstein Files btw, attempted to scare Canadians that China will... outlaw "ice hockey" and eliminate the Stanley Cup.

Seriously...

"Prime Minister Carney wants to make a deal with China - which will eat Canada alive," Trump asserts. "We'll just get the leftovers! I don't think so. The first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup."

Where to even begin with this clown?
