TSN accused of pumping in fake fan noise for their pre-season broadcasts

The 2025-26 NHL pre-season has barely begun and Canadian broadcaster TSN is already under fire from hockey fans.

Fans on Reddit are accusing TSN of pumping in fake fan noise for their broadcasts in an apparent effort to get fans at home a little more hyped. The result is just as ridiculous as you might think. Just imagine the low roar of a European soccer crowd played over a pedestrian pre-season game between the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild and you'll get the idea.

C'mon, TSN... I get that it's pre-season and things can be a bit stale but please don't disrespect knowledgable hockey fans with this kind of nonsense.
