They weren't away for long, but their absence was felt.
Mark Stone and Mike Hoffman will rejoin the Senators tonight after being away for a few days.
Stone was on the injured reserve since February 21st after a contact to the head left his neck sore and stiff. With an history of concussion, the team didn't take any chance.
Hoffman had a more nebulous injury to the groin area since February 19th. He was day-to-day until tonight and the team decided he was ripe for a comeback.
Both forwards are key parts of Ottawa's offense and their comeback is surely appreciated against the Panthers tonight.
