Two Maple Leafs missing in warmups ahead of Game 1.
The Toronto Maple Leafs appear to be without two important players ahead of their first playoff game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without some key players in Game 1.
There were concerns regarding 3 of Toronto's forwards heading into Game 1 of their first round Stanley Cup playoffs series against the Boston Bruins, and 2 of those 3 concerns now appear to have been well founded.
According to multiple reports, both William Nylander and Bobby McMann, who were notably absent during warmups, will not be in the lineup for the Maple Leafs tonight in Game 1.
McMann has been dealing with a lower body injury, one that cost him the final 2 games of the regular season, so his absence doesn't exactly come as a big surprise.
Nylander's absence however comes as a big surprise with the Maple Leafs star forward reportedly waking up on Thursday morning with some type of ailment. No details about the nature of that issue have been released by the Maple Leafs, and at this time of the season the Leafs aren't likely to be forthcoming.
