Two time Stanley Cup champion Tyler Johnson has announced his retirement from professional hockey at 34 years old.
The free agent forward made the announcement on his Instagram account:
The native of Spokane, Washington ends his career with two Stanley Cups (2020, 2021, Tampa Bay Lightning) and with 193 goals and 433 points in 747 career games split between the Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins.
He also won a WHL championship with his hometown Spokane Chiefs (2008) and a Calder Cup championship with the AHL Norfolk Admirals (2012).
