This just in, the Chicago Blackhawks have placed veteran forward Zach Sanford on waivers, while the San Jose Sharks have placed veteran forward Jacob McDonald on waivers.

The 29 year old Sanford has played 15 games for the Blackhawks this season, after being claimed off waivers from the Arizona Coyotes back in January. With rookie Connor Bedard back in the lineup though, there's simply no room for Sanford on the Blackhawks' main roster.
