UFC star Conor McGregor arrested for 'attempted sexual assault'.

The biggest star in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and one of the biggest sports stars in the entire world is facing some extremely serious allegations. 

According to a breaking news report from TMZ Sports, the UFC megastar was arrested in Corsica on charges of attempted sexual assault after he allegedly flew off the handle on Thursday. Court officials in Corsica have provided an official statement to the media and, although they do not go into any great detail regarding the allegations, the accusations that are made are of a very serious nature. 

"Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the gendarmerie services,” prosecutors said as per TMZ Sports.

McGregor has had a long history of trouble with the law at this point, including an incident in which he was captured on video punching an older man in a bar, but this is by far the most heinous allegations that have been levied against him.
