Uncertainty in Marc-Andre Fleury’s desire to return to Vegas as monster trade rumours emerge!

This could be tough to swallow for the Golden Knights, but… Karma might get in the mix!

A bomb was dropped on Tuesday that the Vegas Golden Knights are interested in acquiring Marc-Andre Fleury as it was confirmed that goalie Robin Lehner had sustained an “upper-body” injury, which sources say is a torn labrum in his shoulder that will eventually require surgery. And that’s where rumours lead to Fleury.

While Frank Seravalli of Daily Face-Off also mentions that Vegas is taking a lot at New York Rangers backup Alexandar Georgiev, who is ready for a bigger opportunity elsewhere, the fanbase in Sin City would be thrilled to have Flower back.

However, the question is, would Fleury want to return to a team that traded him for nothing, to a struggling team without having the decency to pick up the phone and let him know before the transaction hit the news feed?

There would be a lot of mending needed to be done… However, Fleury is a great teammate and would probably love to reunite with his boys in the Golden Knights’ dressing room, especially for another shot at the Stanley Cup before potentially hanging up the pads.

Seravalli tried to communicate with Fleury’s agent Allan Walsh on Tuesday, but those questions went unreturned.

The Blackhawks appear set on making sure Fleury is happy if he gets traded and while he only holds a 10-team no-trade list in his contract, Chicago is expected to do right by him.

The Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins are believed to be interested in landing Fleury as well. It sounds like Flower will get the call and you have to wonder if he will choose not to head back to Vegas after the trade mess that took place in the summer.
