Uncle of former Devils goalie Kinkaid goes on epic Facebook rant after trade to Blue Jackets
Uncle Jim is fired up!

The New Jersey Devils made the first big move of the NHL trade deadline on Monday morning, shipping back up goaltender Keith Kinkaid to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a 5th round pick.
Devils fans weren’t happy with the deal, especially considering the fact that Kinkaid has established himself as the team’s starting goaltender over the past two seasons. But, as angry as Devils fans may have been… there level of anger doesn’t come anywhere CLOSE to the anger on display from Kinkain’s uncle Jim.
Uncle Jim went on an epic Facebook rant earlier this week and called out Devils fans for their criticism of Kinkaid:
You tell ‘em, Uncle Jim!
For what it’s worth, the 29 year old Kinkaid has NOT been good this season, regardless of how his team has played in front of him. In 41 starts with the Devils this season, Kinkaid has a subpar 3.36 goals against average and .891 save percentage. Here’s hoping he can find his game in Columbus.
