We reported earlier today that Vancouver Canucks goalie Ryan Miller was set to undergo an MRI to evaluate the seriousness of his injury. Despite no official annoucement regarding the MRI results, according to a report from Dan Murphy a Sportsnet, Miller is expected to miss at least four to six weeks with the injury. This is a huge blow to the Canucks but fortunately they have significant depth at goaltending with both Eddie Lack and Jacob Markstrom able to fill in. Murphy also believes that the Canucks will make no moves in order to acquire a back up, and according to Murphy Canucks' GM Jim Benning is confident enough in his goaltenders to go with Lack and Markstrom even if Miller is out for several weeks. We will keep you updated if any official announcement is made regarding Miller's injury today.
