UPDATE: This just in, Jesperi Kotkaniemi has been removed from the Hurricanes' lineup for Game 2 and is expected to be replaced by Mark Jankowski.

Read below for our earlier report on Kotkaniemi and the Hurricanes' lineup for Game 2 tonight.

The Carolina Hurricanes host the Florida Panthers for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final this evening and will be looking to split the series after getting trounced in Game 1.

Given the Hurricanes' lack of offense in Game 1, you can't blame head coach Rod Brind'Amour for making some lineup changes for this evening's game. While nothing is official, it looks like former 3rd overall pick Jesperi Kotkaniemi will be a healthy scratch tonight. Kotkaniemi took this morning's game-day skate with the team's regular healthy scratches, while his teammates took line rushes.

Kotkaniemi has gone scoreless in 11 playoff games this post-season.
