The Chicago Blackhawks expected defensive unit for tomorrow's showdown with the Columbus Blue Jackets is business as usual except for some surprising changes made to the third pairing.

Duncan Keith and Niklas Hjalmarsson are sticking to the first line as they have been able to maintain structure at the blue line.

Rookie Michal Kempny hits the ice with Brent Seabrook and the duo seem inseparable during practice and during game time since the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Gustav Forsling usually pairs up with Brian Campbell on the third line but it seems that Trevor van Riemsdyk will be replacing Campbell for tomorrow's contest.

During practice we had a Brian Campbell and Michal Rozsival "fourth" pairing but it seems that both players will be set as the healthy scratches for tomorrow's game.
