Getting old is not easy for anyone. We will all go through that later stage in life where health becomes an issue, but we all hope it will be as far away as possible. Athletes are less subjects to major health problem during their youth, but age is the great equalizer.
It's exactly what happened to Bob McGill, a former 700+ games veteran in the NHL. The big guy was known for his physical play, but his body failed him when he suffered a double stroke earlier this week. We're glad to hear he's now doing much better.
You don't recover from a double stroke overnight, but this guy has still a lot of fight inside of him. Good stuff sir, keep it up!
