Earlier today KHL insider Aivis Kalnins broke the news that Vegas Golden Knights forward Vadim Shipachyov was seeking a way back to the KHL after a rocky start in the NHL. After being a surprise scratch and then an emergency call-up by the Knights in their franchise opener, Shipachyov reportedly isn’t happy with the way things have gone with with GM George McPhee. Now however, Shipachyov, through his agent Petr Svoboda, is clearing the air and putting any rumors of his departure to rest. Check out the latest report courtesy of TSN’s Darren Dreger:

Interesting. So now NHL fans are caught in the middle of a “he said, she said” argument on social media. Regardless of what happens with Shipachyov, the bad press has to be seen as an early black eye on the Knights and McPhee’s management of the team’s inaugural roster.
