It was announced yesterday that Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks would be the starting goalie for tonight's game versus the Philadelphia Flyers.

Today Crawford was not on the ice for practice with no official announcement explaining his absence whether it be an injury or illness of some sort.

Crawford has been having a phenomenal debut to the 2016-2017 NHL regular season, most goals against were caused by power plays for the opposing teams.

Let us hope that it is nothing serious and that Crawford will suit up for tonight, if not Scott Darling has also been having a great start and makes for a fantastic backup.

Cross your fingers for tonight as the Chicago Blackhawks faceoff against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at the United Center at 8:30 p.m. (ET).
