The Chicago Blackhawks will be starting Corey Crawford in goal tonight in an attempt to thwart the New Jersey Devils in their home town.
It has been a frustrating start to the 2016-2017 NHL regular season for both goalies of the Chicago Blackhawks who have been having great stats this year while at even strength. The issue is that when they are on the PK their awesome stats don't look so awesome anymore. So far the Blackhawks have let in 14 goals while short handed 26 times this season.
Goalies already have to carry the weight of the team on their shoulders but the added pressure of having to deal with so many penalty kills can make the job seem impossible.
Crawford has kept a positive outlook and will be giving it his all tonight as the Chicago Blackhawks clash with the New Jersey Devils at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
