Utah defenseman Mikhail Sergachev feeds teammates from home farm amid tariffs war
That’s a good teammate. See why he chose to do it in the story down below:
Defenseman Mikhail Sergachev has become everyone’s favourite teammate in Utah because of… eggs?
That’s right. Over the weekend, Sergachev revealed how he has been helping out his teammates amid the tariffs war and a bird flu outbreak in the States seeing that most of them cannot find eggs at the local markets. Therefore, the blue liner, who has his own chicken coop in his backyard, told Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune how he’s been bringing in eggs for his teammates when his chickens produce about two dozen eggs or so.
Egg prices are currently at an all-time high in the United States, and it’s kinda fun to see how a Russian player is making sure his teammates and their families do not go without eggs.
However one teammate, forward Nick Bjugstad, still poke some fun at farmer Sergachev and his generosity, telling him to make sure his chickens didn’t have the bird flu.
This was Sergachev’s response:
“It’s insane. He disrespected my chickens like that. I still gave him eggs because he said his wife went to the store and there were no eggs.”
Now that’s a good teammate and provider.
