What a tilt! These young men are chuckin' 'em!
The puck dropped on the 2026 Memorial Cup this past weekend, but it was last night when the hockey world really took notice of the CHL's annual championship.
Jaxsin Vaughan of the WHL's Everett Silvertips and Andrew McNeil of the OHL's Kitchener Rangers squared off in an epic tilt that is going viral all over social media today.
The two young men threw absolute bombs at each other and skated away from the tilt dealing and taking about equal damage. It was an old school hockey fight between two guys who aren't afraid to stand in there and take one to land one.

That's old time hockey right there!
McNeil and the Rangers got the last laugh though as they cruised to their second easy victory of the tournament, defeating Everett by a score of 6-2. They also blanked the tournament host Kelowna Rockets 5-0 to start the tournament. The Rangers are now 2-0 and face the QMJHL's Chicoutimi Saguenéens later this evening.
Everett falls to 1-1 now and will face Kelowna tomorrow evening.
The Memorial Cup Final is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st.
