The captain was injured in Sunday's game against Pittsburgh
Vegas Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy has ruled captain Mark Stone out for tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres after Stone was injured in Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Yesterday, Cassidy had announced that Stone was 'day to day' with a suspected upper body injury and today the coach confirmed that indeed Stone is on the shelf.
Vegas will also be without forward Mitch Marner and defenseman Shea Theodore due to illness.
