Vegas sends Robin Lehner to AHL's Henderson Silver Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights have announced that goaltender Robin Lehner has been assigned to the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights on a conditioning basis.

Lehner has missed the past 13 games due to injury and is likely just practicing with the team's AHL squad due to a lengthy road trip for the Golden Knights. It's the first time Lehner has been on the ice in nearly a month, so it's no surprise that he was keen get out there and practice as soon as possible. So, while it might sound surprising that the Golden Knights have placed their big ticket starting goalie in the AHL, it actually makes sense given their current circumstances.

Look for Lehner to get back between the pipes with Vegas in short order.
