Had to be helped off the ice.
National Hockey League veteran Cam Fowler had to be helped off the ice on Friday night when he fell awkwardly to the ice, jamming his leg against the boards.
Fowler was moving the puck along the boards when Montreal Canadiens forward Phillip Danault attempted to make a play on the puck, however Danault's stick got caught in the blade of Fowler's skate.
This cause Fowler's leg to drag awkwardly towards the boards where it would eventually plant as he fell and drove all his weight into that leg. You can see his leg buckle violently as the impact of his weight drives against his leg and the boards.
