As the offseason inches closer to its end, many more professional tryouts are being handed out to players without contracts. The Ottawa Senators are next in line, as they’ve offered Matt Bartkowski a PTO, according to a news release by the club.

Last season, the 28-year-old put up a career-best 6 goals and 18 points in 80 games with a Vancouver Canucks team that had a very hard time scoring goals. It’s no wonder, then, that he could easily make the team should he impress the Sens’ brass starting on September 22nd.

In 211 games, he has 6 goals and 42 points.
