A veteran National Hockey League goaltender may have played his final game in the NHL.

According to a report from CBS Sports, former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jhonas Enroth has chosen to sign a new contract with HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League, the deal was reportedly signed on Thursday.

Enroth was selected in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres but outside of a brief stint during the 2015-2016 with the Los Angeles Kings, he never put up the kind of numbers that would have earned him a starting job.

CBS Sports claims that "with no clear path to a No.1 gig in sight" Enroth made the decision to move his talents over to the KHL, however it's unclear if any NHL teams reached out and made him an offer.
