The Nashville Predators will have to deal with an injury to one of their veteran forward. As reported by hockey insider John Glennon on Twitter, forward Scott Hartnell missed practice today, and he is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Hartnell, 35, has registered seven points in 16 games so far this season. He was drafted sixth overall by the Predators in 2000. He also played with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He rejoined the Predators as a free agent last summer. In 1203 games played in the NHL, Hartnell registered 690 points. He added 47 points in 95 playoff games.

The Predators will face the Washington Capitals tomorrow night.
