Veteran Sbisa signs one year NHL contract
After a brief stint with the Isles, Sbisa is back on the West Coast.

This just in, veteran defensemen Luca Sbisa is expected to sign a one year contract with the Anaheim Ducks. This according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

The 29 year old attended the New York Islanders’ training camp on a professional tryout (PTO) contract this preseason after playing just 9 games for the team in all of 2018-19. He’s been placed on waivers by the Ducks today due to the NHL’s rules about signing a free agent during the season.
In 504 career NHL games split between the Isles, Golden Knights, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers, Sbisa has 18 goals and 103 points.
