Video: 97.5MPH slapshot destroys Brendan Gallagher's hand.

Say what you want about Brendan Gallagher, but the guy is as much a warrior as anybody in the league. When he decided to leave the game on wednesday night in a game against the Dallas Stars (which the Habs won in overtime) we knew it was serious.

How serious? Serious like a puck moving at 97.5mph coming straight at your hand.

The Habs' forward got his hand crushed by Shea Weber's slapshot, one of the hardest in the NHL. Gallagher went straight to Montreal and is expected to miss at least his team's next game against the Toronto Maple Leafs saturday night.

Time will tell but it doesn't look good for Gallagher who most likely has a broken finger. One could expect him to miss between 4 and 6 weeks of action.
