It was great to see hockey return to TD Garden on Tuesday.
One of the better highlights from last night's pre-season action against the Washington Capitals was prospect Justin Hickman winning his first fight at an NHL level.
The Bruins winger took on Capitals defenseman Tyler Lewington during a second-period stoppage in play. It was the Bruins first fight of the pre-season.
Hickman and Lewington exchanged a few punches before Hickman got the takedown on Lewington, much to the delight of the crowd at TD Garden. Hickman is an experienced pugilist and was involved in 27 fights in four seasons in the WHL.
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
