Video: Matt Dumba's monster hit punishes the Oilers suicide pass.

You can bet that Edmonton Oiler Lauri Korpikoski won't be thanking teammate Eric Gryba for setting him up for this pass.

As you will see in the video below Korpikoski was the recipient of a suicide pass from Gryba, one that made him easy pray for the Minnesota Wild's Matt Dumba, who was not penalized on the play.

While it does appear that the primary point of contact is Korpikoski's head, based on Dumba's body position and the hit itself, it does appear he was aiming for the shoulder, but the pass caused Korpikoski to move his head in a bad position. The best angle is roughly at around the 35 second mark.

This is going to be an interesting one to monitor, especially given that Dumba was not assessed a penalty on the play.
