The Toronto Maple Leafs forward broke into the offensive zone on an odd-man rush and roofed a shot past Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen, lifting his team to a 2-1 advantage just over a minute into the third period: 

Nylander tallied 17 goals with 25 assists in 51 games played last season, and was Toronto's leading scorer in their seven game playoff loss to the Habs with five goals in the seven games.
