Waiver wire: Flames make 2 more cuts to roster

The Calgary Flames, on the heels of the huge Jagr announcement this morning, placed 2 players on waivers today.

With Calgary's stacked offense and Mark Jankowski proving that he's ready to be a NHL regular this year, it's no surprise these players were cut.

Luke Gazdic is an up and down guy and was signed to a one-year two-deal this summer. Garnet Hathaway, undrafted, is a primarily minor league player - so no surprise here.
