Edmonton Oilers forward Warren Foegele is looking to get all the help he can get in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final with Foegele and his Edmonton Oilers on the brink of elimination.

We all know that hockey players are notoriously superstitious creatures and that is never more true than during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Foegele it would seem has put his faith in some special attire on Saturday night, with the Oilers forward being spotted wearing some rather unusual clothing on his way into the building tonight.

Foegele was spotted wearing a shirt with a picture of the late Kobe Bryant on the front, but this wasn't just any picture of the long time Los Angeles Lakers and National Basketball Association superstar. Instead this was a famous picture of Kobe Bryant wearing Wayne Gretzky's number 99 jersey from many, many years ago.

I have no doubt that Foegele will be asked about his unusual choice of attire at some point but right now we are left to speculate on why he chose tonight to wear this shirt. If I had to take a blind guess, I suspect that Foegele is trying to channel some of the mojo from the two legendary players into himself. Foegele had a huge goal for the Oilers in Game 3, although they would come up short in that contest, and it may very well be the case that he is hoping to repeat the feat in Game 4 tonight.
