Wayne Simmonds dominates Zack MacEwen.

Not a close fight.

The Toronto Maple Leafs took a pretty convincing win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night, a night that marked the end of veteran defenseman Keith Yandle's Ironman streak of 989 consecutive games played in the National Hockey League, and that convincing victory was capped off with an emphatic exclamation point courtesy of Maple Leafs forward Wayne Simmonds.

After discussions between Simmonds and Philadelphia Flyers forward Zack MacEwen had gotten heated earlier in the game, Simmonds and MacEwen would finally drop the gloves with just under 3 minutes remaining on the clock in the game's third period. It would be a decision that MacEwen would likely come to regret as he was thoroughly dominated by the former Flyer, with Simmonds controlling every aspect of this exchange.

Simmonds threw virtually every punch in the fight with MacEwen only offering very weak responses that came nowhere close to connecting, and Simmonds by far landed the most damaging shots of the fight as well.
