We have yet to see this year’s first overall pick Connor Bedard in action of NHL team that eyes are already on who could be the projected first-overall pick for the 2024 NHL Draft next June.
Ivan Demidov has already emerged as a top contender to be the one that hears his name called out first in next year’s draft with impressive play in the KHL.

Demidov is a top prospect for next year’s NHL draft and is already showing off in the preseason:
The young prospect is surely blowing minds already and some pundits are already speculating that the Flyers could look to select him in June 2024 to reunite him with Michkov in Philly in the future.
I have to say I am already impressed with Demidov and cannot wait to see how he develops ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft.
